Boholandia

Today, I dream of Bohol. The pristine, white sand beaches of Panglao, the magnificent marine life, the fresh air and laid back feel of Tagbilaran City, the beautiful countryside... Aaah. I had told myself before that if I would get rich, I would buy a house in Bohol (among other favorite places - Baguio, Palawan, Tagaytay) so I would be close to the all the wonders it offers.

Well, I'm not even close to being rich, hehe, so for now, I'll make do with seasonal trips to this beautiful place. Here are some pictures from my recent trip to Bohol (our honeymoon last May):

View from our balcony... Hay, it's so nice waking up to this every morning. :)

At our balcony

Chilling and having snacks by the beach...

Foodidoo: the resort's lasagna is to die for! And the pizza, too!

Watching the sunrise... Marveling at the beauty of God's creations...

Bittersweet Sunday

Ah, Sunday. There's always a bittersweet feeling I get whenever this day arrives. Love it because it's weekend, no work, I can just chill, lalala lalala. But a part of me kinda hates it at some point becuase when it's over, it's time to go to the jungle the next day. Haha Oh well, that's life.

Today, I'm more on the bitter side because it's the first morning since Paul left for Singapore. I woke up without his arms around me. :( But anyway, he'll be away for just a month. I just tell myself, it's over before I know it. Four weeks? Easy. Hehe

In other news -- I just entered my 7th week of pregnancy! How exciting! Note that this is the ovulatory count (which I think is the more appropriate count, because it starts with the conception date). If we are counting menstrual, it's the 9th week already, because this type of counting starts from the first day of the last period, meaning you are about 2 weeks preggy already at the time of the conception). Anyway, so far, so good. No morning sickness yet. Just occasional bouts of dizziness, especially in the mornings. And I always feel lazy and sleepy! I wish I could afford to be jobless so I could just stay home and chill while I'm pregnant. Hahaha

I'm back!

Wow, after a year and one day, I am reviving this blog. Hehe I haven't updated this because, well, I've been busy or actually, lazy. Hehe Have also been kinda hooked on other social media sites such as Facebook, Tumblr and microblogging sites, Twitter and Plurk.

So, how have I been? Lots of things happened in the past year and most of the major ones took place just recently. Let me list down the top 3 milestones, hehe.

  • Paul and I got married! Yes, after 8 years of being together! =)
  • I got new job. Well, within the same company... I was actually transferred to another business unit.
  • Paul and I are having a baby! Oh yes, honeymoon baby! Our little bundle of joy will come out late February next year.

There are a lot of things to blog about, lots of thoughts, rants, raves, experiences, especially now that I am a wife and a soon-to-be mom! I will try to regularly update this as much as I can. I also renamed this blog to "Wonderful Journey". I may be whiny or a pessimist at times, but that's exactly how I feel about my new life right now... I have a loving husband, a very supportive family, caring friends. And to add to these, a little angel will be coming into our lives, our very own child!

It is a wonderful journey, indeed.
